Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
- People who post (senders) never see their followers' phone numbers or emails. Followers never see senders' numbers or emails.
- We never sell your information, and we never share your phone number or email with anyone for their marketing.
- We don't track your location. If you choose to share it, we read it once, at that moment.
- Announcements disappear when they end. We don't keep a history of where anyone worked.
- You can leave, unfollow or delete your account at any time.
This policy explains what CatchMeOn LLC ("CatchMeOn", "we", "us") collects when you use catchmeon.app and our alerts by text message and email (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. CatchMeOn LLC is a Florida limited liability company.
Who uses CatchMeOn
Senders are people and businesses who post when and where they are working, such as bartenders, servers, food trucks, DJs and stylists. Followers are people who choose to be told when a sender is working. One person can be both.
What we collect
From everyone
- A mobile number or an email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to send the alerts you ask for. It is never shown to other users.
- Basic technical information such as your browser type, device type, and IP address, which our servers record to keep the Service secure and working.
From followers
- An optional name or nickname you choose to give a sender. You can leave it blank.
- How and when you joined a sender's list (for example, "scanned a card on Friday at 9:42 PM"), and your alert preferences (text, email, or in the app only).
- Optional actions you take, such as tapping "On my way" or using an offer code. Senders see only totals, never who.
From senders
- Your public name (a nickname, stage name, or business name; your legal name is not required), what you do, and the places you work.
- Your announcements: where, when they start, an optional note, and an optional offer. Your end time, if you set one, is used only to end the announcement and is not shown to followers unless you choose to show it.
- Private notes you write about followers. Only you can see them.
- Billing information if you choose a paid plan. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Location
We do not track your location in the background, and we never show anyone's live location. A sender who taps "Use my location" shares their position once, to place a pin for that post. A follower who allows it can see distances to announcements; that location stays on the follower's device and is not shared with senders.
How we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, deliver announcements to the followers who asked for them, and show you who is on.
- To keep it safe: prevent abuse, enforce blocks, review reports, and protect people's privacy.
- To show senders how their announcements perform, as counts only (for example, "23 people looked for you this week").
- To send you service messages, such as sign-in codes, receipts, and important changes to these policies.
- To improve the Service using aggregated information that does not identify you.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never show a follower's phone number or email to a sender, or a sender's to a follower.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, including lead generators. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- We never keep a history of where a sender has worked. Announcements are removed from the Service when they end.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run CatchMeOn, under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing their service to us:
- Hosting and data storage.
- Email delivery and text message delivery providers, to send the alerts and sign-in codes you request.
- Our payment processor, for paid plans.
- Mapping providers, to display maps for announcements.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of any person, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Text message alerts
If you choose text alerts, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from CatchMeOn when the senders you follow post announcements, and sign-in codes when you request them. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies. By default you get up to two roundups a day, at times you choose, listing who you follow will be working. If you ask to hear from a sender right away, or only when they post too late for your roundup, you may also get up to three alerts a day, never more than one per sender, and none during your quiet hours.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages. Reply HELP for help, or email support@catchmeon.app.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How long we keep it
- Announcements are removed from the Service when they end.
- Counts such as views and taps are kept in aggregate for insights.
- Your account information is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, security, or billing reasons. A record of blocked phone numbers and emails is kept in a form that cannot be read back, so blocks keep working.
Your choices
- Change how you receive alerts, or turn text and email alerts off, in Settings.
- Unfollow anyone at any time. They are not told.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@catchmeon.app.
- Delete your account at any time.
Security
We use encryption in transit, store contact details in protected form, and limit access to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your account has been misused.
Age
CatchMeOn is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date above and let account holders know by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
